Lower Measles Wall is a climbing area in the Wilcox Lake Wild Forest of New York, managed by the State Department of Conservation. It sits among several other climbing spots in the same area, including Under the Measles Wall and Belleview Slab, both about 0.1 mile away, and Belleview and Sky High Wall, each about 0.2 mile away. The area offers a mix of sport, trad and mixed routes, with grades ranging from 5.3 to 5.10c. Summer is the most comfortable time to climb here. Typical averages from a nearby weather station run to highs around 75°F in July with lows near 54°F, though that station sits about 530 feet lower than the wall, so temperatures at the wall run cooler. The routes here include Measly Corner (5.3 trad, first ascent 1993) and Cracklosis (5.4 trad), as well as sport routes like Getcher Breakfast (5.10a) and Pox (5.10c).
