Eagle Cliff is a climbing area in the Lake George Wild Forest in New York, managed by the State Department of Conservation. It sits among a cluster of climbing and hiking spots, with Stewarts Ledge about 0.6 miles away and the Buck Mt Trail sections within half a mile. The climbing here is mostly traditional, with a single mixed route. Nine routes are listed, ranging from 5.4 to 5.12a. Annies Crack is the easiest at 5.4, and Eagle Crack is the hardest at 5.12a. Most of the routes are in the 5.5 to 5.8 range. Summer is the warmest stretch for a visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Glens Falls show July highs around 82°F with lows near 58°F, while September cools to highs around 72°F. That station sits about 650 feet lower than the cliff, so temperatures on the rock run cooler. Pilot Knob path and Buck Mt Trail -Section 2 are both about 0.4 miles away. Stewarts Ledge and New Buck are the closest other climbing areas.
