Diagonal Ramp Wall is a climbing area in the Wilcox Lake Wild Forest in New York, managed by the State Department of Conservation. It sits among a cluster of named climbing spots, including Upper Measles Wall, Measles Walls and Over The Measles Wall, all about 0.1 mile away, and the Crane Mountain Path hike is also within a tenth of a mile. The area is a small, compact hub of rock, with seven routes spread across it. Six are traditional climbs, and one is a mixed route. The grade range runs from about 5.7+ up to 5.10a, with the hardest routes being Kielbasy Posse and Leapin' Louie at 5.10a. Norman's Crack of Joy is a trad climb at 5.8, and Kill It Before It Spreads is the mixed route at 5.7+. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show July highs around 75°F with lows near 54°F. That station sits a few hundred feet lower than the wall, so temperatures here run a little cooler.
