Technical Trail is a short, easy out-and-back hike in New Mexico, about 1.7 miles from the community of Tano Road. The route is 0.92 miles long, with a one-way climb of 52 feet from a low point of 7,018 feet to a high of 7,135 feet. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station at Santa Fe Seton show May highs around 73°F and October highs around 66°F, while July and August bring the most wet days, about 11 each month. Several other trails sit close by. Pipeline Road is 0.4 miles away, and the La Tierra Trail Network and Whoop-Tees Trail (Technical) are each about half a mile off. The Wee Whoop-Tees Trail, a mountain biking route, is 0.6 miles away.
