Silva Trail is a short, easy out-and-back hike on Bureau of Land Management land in the Socorro Field Office of New Mexico, about half a mile from the town of Socorro. The trail is just under a mile long, with a low point of about 5,337 feet and a high of about 5,454 feet, so the climb is gentle, with a total gain of about 110 feet. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to go.
