Pinedrop is an easy, short hike in the Sandia Ranger District of Cibola National Forest in New Mexico, about 1.5 miles long with a one-way climb of about 110 feet. The trail is on natural surface and is managed by the Forest Service. The most comfortable months for a visit are typically late spring and early fall. Typical averages from the nearby Sandia Park weather station run from highs around 73°F in May to about 77°F in September, with July and August near 83°F. The trail is open to bikes and horses. It is not an accessible trail. Several other short hikes start close by, including the Cresta Trail (258) about 0.2 miles away and La Barba and Un Poquito at about 0.3 miles. Climbers can find Pino Wall about 3.9 miles off.
