Old Mineral Creek is a 5.1-mile out-and-back hike in the Aldo Leopold Wilderness, part of the Black Range Ranger District of Gila National Forest in New Mexico. The trail climbs from a low point of 7,219 feet to a high point of 9,491 feet, with a total elevation gain of 2,248 feet. The Forest Service manages the land, and the route is rated moderate. The trail starts at the low end of the climb and works its way up to the high point before returning. Two other trails sit just 0.2 miles away: the Hillsboro Peak Bypass Trail #412 and the Ladrone Gulch Trail #127. The Cdt Jov is about half a mile off, and Iron Creek Campground, roughly 3.3 miles away, is the closest place to camp.
