Mano Trail is an easy out-and-back hike in the Sandia Foothills, part of the Sandia Ranger District of Cibola National Forest in New Mexico. The trail is about 4.4 miles long, with a one-way elevation gain of 765 feet, and it rises from a low point of 6,282 feet to a high of 7,051 feet. The land is managed as city land, and the trail sits close to the town of Embudo, with several other hikes and climbing areas within a short distance. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to go. Typical averages from the nearby Sandia Park weather station, at a similar elevation, show May highs around 73°F and October highs around 65°F, while winter highs there sit in the low to mid 40s. The Embudo hike starts just 0.1 mile away, and the Embudo Bypass is 0.2 mile off. Boulder B and The Ozzy Boulder, both climbing areas, are within half a mile.
