Embudito is a hard hike in the Sandia Mountain Wilderness, part of the Sandia Ranger District of Cibola National Forest in New Mexico. The trail is about 10.7 miles long, with a one-way elevation gain of 3,248 feet, and it is an out-and-back route. The Forest Service manages the land, and the trail is not accessible. The climb starts at a low point of about 6,300 feet and reaches a high of about 9,400 feet. The route is on natural surface, and bikes are not allowed. The trailhead sits right next to the Manitoba/Montgomery Trailhead climbing area, with Boulder A and First Step also within about a quarter mile. The Old Embudito Trail is about 0.6 miles away.
