Atv Bypass is an easy, out-and-back hike of about 1.7 miles on Forest Service land in the Sandia Ranger District of Cibola National Forest in northern New Mexico. The route gains about 154 feet of elevation, with a low point around 6,419 feet and a high of about 6,646 feet. It sits close to several other trails, making it an easy addition to a day spent exploring this corner of the forest. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to go. Typical averages from the nearby Sandia Park weather station show May highs around 73°F and October highs around 65°F, while winter highs sit in the low 40s. Cedro Creek Trail and Powerline both start about 0.1 mile away, and Concrete Trail is about 0.3 mile off. For climbing, Ranger Station Wall is roughly 0.8 mile away.
