Roland Fraser Trail is a short, easy hike in Ceasar's Brook Reservation in New Hampshire, about 0.7 miles long and roughly 1.4 miles round trip. The trail is an out-and-back with a total climb of about 112 feet, so you'll gain and lose that much on the way out and back. The steepest part comes at about half a mile in, with a grade of about 8 percent. Late spring and early fall are the most comfortable times to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Milford show May highs around 69°F and September highs around 73°F, while July averages about 83°F and January highs sit near 33°F.
