Purgatory Falls is a bouldering area in New Hampshire, about 0.8 miles from the town of Perham Corner. It sits close to the Purgatory Brook Trail and the Upland Trail, both about 0.3 miles away, which makes it an easy addition to a walk in the area. The climbing here is all bouldering, with eight routes spread across the site. Their grades range from V0 to V5 on the V scale, and the median is V3. Among the named routes are Mercutio (V0), JOY (V3) and Oracle SDS (V5), with Oracle at V4. Summer is the warmest time to visit. Typical averages from the nearby Milford weather station show July highs around 83°F with lows near 60°F, and September still runs to highs in the low 70s. Old Hutchinton Hill Quarry and Railroad Boulder are other climbing spots about 5 miles away. Mountain bikers can ride the Old Dow Road Trail, roughly a mile off.
