La Madre Range is a climbing area in Nevada's La Madre Mountain Wilderness, managed by the Bureau of Land Management's Red Rock/Sloan Field Office. The wilderness sits within the agency's broader Red Rock/Sloan Field Office area, and the land is designated as wilderness. The area has 11 climbing routes, with eight of them done in traditional style and three in sport. The YDS grades run from 5.5 to 5.12d, with the median at 5.9. Among the routes are Desert Alpinist at 5.5, Halidon Spur at 5.9-, and Dreamland at 5.12d. Several other climbing areas lie within a few miles, including Box Canyon at 2.6 miles and Water World at 2.8 miles. Sunny and Steep is 3.2 miles away. For hiking, Brownstone Canyon is 3.4 miles off. Red Rock Canyon Campground, about 6.3 miles away, offers a place to stay.
