The Trophy Wall is a climbing area in Nevada on Bureau of Land Management land within the Red Rock/Sloan Field Office. It sits among a cluster of other climbing spots, with Avian Wall, The Secret 13 Wall and Monstro's Gaping Maw all about 0.1 mile away. The climbing here is all sport, and the routes run from about 5.12a to 5.13a. Among the named routes are "Dodging a Bullet" at 5.12a, "Keep Your Powder Dry" at 5.12b and "Midnight Cowboy" at 5.13a. The area's name comes from the route "The Trophy," a 5.12b/c sport climb. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show April highs around 70°F and October highs around 75°F, while July and August average in the mid-90s. That station sits about 860 feet lower than the wall, so temperatures on the wall run cooler. Turtlehead Peak and Calico Tanks Trail are both within half a mile.
