Tom Cooke Trail is a short, easy hike in the Carson Ranger District of Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest in Nevada, about 0.3 miles from the trail's start. The route is an out-and-back of roughly 0.6 miles, with a total climb of about 394 feet and a steepest stretch of about 17% at around 0.26 miles in. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show May highs around 72°F and October highs around 68°F, while July and August average in the low 90s. Several other outings sit close by.
