Belli Front Trail is a 7.4-mile out-and-back hike in the Carson Ranger District of Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest in Nevada, managed by the Forest Service. The trail starts at about 5,300 feet and climbs to about 5,600 feet, with a total elevation gain of 430 feet. The steepest stretch comes at about 1.5 miles in, where the grade reaches 44 percent. Late spring and early fall are the most comfortable times to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station at a similar elevation show May highs around 65°F and September highs around 77°F, while July and August average in the mid-80s. Several other outings sit close by. The Tom Cooke Trail for mountain biking is about 0.7 miles away, and the Steamboat Ditch Trail and Hunter Creek hikes are each within about a mile. Climbers can find the Lower West Side (Broken Promises boulder) about 1.5 miles off.
