Osceola Ditch Trail is a short, easy hike in Great Basin National Park in Nevada, managed by the National Park Service. The trail is about 1.1 miles long, and the round trip adds up to roughly 2.2 miles with a total elevation gain of about 660 feet. The route is out and back, and the climb is front-loaded, with the steepest stretch at about 0.3 miles from the start, where the grade reaches nearly 29 percent. Summer is the most comfortable time to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show July highs around 85°F and lows near 58°F, while winter highs sit around 40°F with lows near 20°F.
