The Jarbidge River Trail is a 21.5-mile out-and-back hike in the Jarbidge Wilderness, part of the Mountain City-Ruby Mountains-Jarbidge Ranger District of the Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest in northeastern Nevada. The Forest Service manages the land, and the trail is rated hard, with a one-way elevation gain of about 1,660 feet from a low point of roughly 6,800 feet to a high of about 9,800 feet. The trail is on natural surface and allows horses, but bikes are not permitted. That makes it a practical route for riders on horseback, and the wilderness setting adds to the sense of a remote backcountry journey. Several other destinations sit within a few miles. Pine Creek and the Jarbidge River to Mary's River hikes are both about 1.7 miles away, and Lower Bluster Campground and Pine Creek Campground are each about 2 miles off.
