Teepee Creek is a mountain biking route in Montana's Gallatin Wildlife Management Area, within the Bozeman Ranger District of Custer Gallatin National Forest. The land is managed by State Fish and Wildlife, and the ride covers about a mile with a climb of roughly 500 feet from a starting point near 7,140 feet to a high point of about 7,637 feet. The route is short and compact, with the steepest stretch coming around half a mile in at about 20% grade. It's a climb rather than a long ride, so plan on a single outing rather than a day of backtracking. Summer is the most comfortable time to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Big Sky show July highs around 78°F with lows near 41°F, and the station sits about 1,000 feet lower than the route, so temperatures on the trail run cooler.
