Whiterock Cr is an easy, out-and-back hike in Montana's Helena-Lewis and Clark National Forest, on the Rocky Mountain Ranger District. The trail is about 8.4 miles long, rising from a low point of 5,689 feet to a high of 7,024 feet, and the one-way climb is only about 46 feet. The Forest Service manages the land, and the route's natural surface makes it suitable for horses and bikes, though the trail is not accessible. The hike stays open year-round, and the surrounding network of trails makes it easy to pair with other outings. Kiyo Crag Lake lies less than a mile away, and Palookaville Trail and the Whiterock Spur Trail are within about 2 miles. For camping, Summit Campground sits roughly 10 miles off.
