Telephone Creek is a short, easy out-and-back hike in Montana's Scapegoat Wilderness, within the Rocky Mountain Ranger District of the Helena-Lewis and Clark National Forest. The trail is about 2.3 miles long, with a low point of 6,526 feet and a high of 6,646 feet, and it gains about 82 feet of elevation. The Forest Service manages the land, and the route is natural-surfaced, so it works well for horses and is not accessible. The hike is open year-round, and the trail is not open to bikes. Cave Creek lies about 0.4 miles away, and the Dearborn River and Half Moon mountain biking routes are within about a mile. For an overnight stay, Double Falls Campground is roughly 6.7 miles off.
