Standard Creek is an out-and-back hike in the Libby Ranger District of Montana's Kootenai National Forest, about 13.5 miles from the town of Noxon. The trail is rated hard, with a one-way climb of about 1,906 feet over 8.8 miles, taking you from a low point of about 3,506 feet to a high of about 6,487 feet. The trail is on natural surface, and it allows both horses and bikes, according to the Forest Service's trail records. That makes it a versatile route for riders and pack animals as well as hikers. Teeters Peak and Fourth of July are both hikes within about a mile and a half, and Lake Creek Campground is about 1.7 miles away. For paddling, the Fisher River is roughly 6.5 miles off.
