Rierdon Gulch is a hard hike in the Bob Marshall Wilderness, part of the Rocky Mountain Ranger District of the Helena-Lewis and Clark National Forest in Montana. The Forest Service manages the land, and the trail is a natural-surface out-and-back that climbs from about 5,370 feet to about 7,590 feet over roughly 25 miles. The route is rated hard, and the climb is steep. Horses are allowed, and the trail is not accessible. Plan for a long day with a significant elevation gain. Several other destinations sit within a few miles. South Fork Teton and Green Gulch are both hikes close by, and Green Gulch Dispersed Camp Campground offers dispersed camping. Mill Falls Campground is about 3.9 miles away.
