Zulu Creek is a 5.1-mile out-and-back hike on natural surface in the Three Rivers Ranger District of Kootenai National Forest, in northwest Montana, managed by the Forest Service. It is a moderate route, with a one-way climb of about 1,437 feet from a low of roughly 4,517 feet to a high of about 6,238 feet. The trail is open to both horses and bikes, so riders and riders of pack animals can plan on using it as a base for a longer trip in the area. The climb starts at the lower end of the route and builds steadily toward the summit before turning back. The closest neighbor is the Purcell/Lost Horse hike, about 1.7 miles away. Lost Horse Tie and Pipe Divide sit roughly 4 miles off. For an overnight, Loon Lake Campground is about 10 miles away.
