Minor Lake is a 7.2-mile out-and-back hike in the Cabinet Mountains Wilderness, part of the Libby Ranger District of Kootenai National Forest in northwest Montana. The trail climbs from about 4,060 feet to 6,322 feet, a gain of 1,858 feet, and is rated moderate. The Forest Service manages the land, and the route is on natural surface. The trail is open from June 15 through November 30. Horses are allowed, and bikes are not. The closest neighbor is the North Fork Parmenter hike, about half a mile away. Within a couple of miles are the Grambauer Ridge Tie hike and the Cedar Creek mountain biking route. Dorr Skeels Campground, about 9 miles off, offers a place to stay.
