Canyon Divide is a hard out-and-back hike in the Libby Ranger District of Montana's Kootenai National Forest. The route runs about 10.5 miles, with an elevation gain of roughly 500 feet from the low point at 4,661 feet to the high at 5,798 feet. The trail is open from about May 1 to November 30, and the parking area is marked as Canyon Divide TH 420 End. The Forest Service manages the land, and the trail is natural surfaced, with horses and bikes both allowed. Nearby, Boundary Mountain is about 1.7 miles away, and North Fork Canyon Creek and Sugarloaf Lookout are each within about 4 miles. The Cripple Cripple Horse Meadow sites, roughly 5.6 miles off, offer camping.
