Boundary Mountain is an easy hike in the Libby Ranger District of Montana's Kootenai National Forest, about 1.3 miles long with a one-way climb of 452 feet. The trail starts at the Boundary Mountain trailhead, which is also known as TH 425, and it leads to a high point of 5,697 feet from a low point of about 5,240 feet. The route is an out-and-back on natural surface, and it is open from June through November. Bikes are allowed. The Forest Service manages the land, and the trip is best planned for summer and fall. Other places to explore are Canyon Divide, about 1.7 miles away, and Warland Peak Lookout, about 2.8 miles away. For camping, Cripple Cripple Horse Meadow Site 5 is about 4.2 miles off, and McGillivray Campground is about 7.7 miles away.
