C.L.A. Mile is a short, flat cross-country ski route on Appleton Farms Grass Rides in Massachusetts, managed by a non-governmental organization. The route is an out-and-back of about 0.38 miles, with a total climb of about 32 feet, and it is rated easy. Winter is the natural season for skiing here. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Beverly show January highs around 37°F with about four snow days, while March still averages 18°F for lows and 45°F for highs. Snow days drop to zero from April through October. Lamson Field and Grass Rides Loop are both about 0.1 mile away, and Lamson Field South is a similar distance. Jack's Field is about 0.2 mile off.
