TR Maple Swamp Connector is a mountain biking route in Massachusetts, about 1.8 miles from the town of Essex Falls. It is a short, out-and-back ride of about 2.5 miles, with a total climb of roughly 150 feet and a steepest grade of about 6% near the 0.9-mile mark. The route is rated hard, so plan on a ride that demands more than just a casual pace. Summer is the most comfortable time to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Beverly show July highs around 80°F with lows near 60°F, while winter brings highs in the upper 30s and a few snowy days a month from December through February. Tr Maple Swamp, a hike, sits just 0.1 mile away, and the Connector To Boardwalk and Bones mountain biking routes are within a third of a mile. Climbers can find the North Shore climbing area about 8 miles off.
