Stupid Trail is a short, out-and-back mountain biking route in Massachusetts, about 2 miles from Kettle Cove Village. The climb is steady, with a high point of 190 feet and a total gain of 303 feet over the 1.8-mile round trip. The route is rated hard, and the steepest stretch comes at about 0.37 miles in, with a grade of 6 percent. Summer is the most comfortable time to ride. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Beverly show July highs around 80°F with lows near 60°F, while winter brings highs in the upper 30s and a few snow days a month from December through February.
