Land Before Time Wall is a climbing area in Muir Valley Nature Preserve in Kentucky, managed by a non-governmental organization. It sits among several other climbing spots, with Front Porch Wall, Recess Rock and Guide Wall each about a tenth of a mile away, making the surrounding area a compact cluster of rock. The wall holds eight routes, seven of them sport and one trad, with grades ranging from 5.5 to 5.10c. Unhappy Feet is the trad route at 5.5, and Sabertooth is the hardest, at 5.10c. The area works well for climbers looking for a range of sport options on a single outing. Spring and fall are the most comfortable seasons to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show May highs around 75°F and October highs around 69°F, with September and October seeing the fewest wet days of the year.
