Pike Springs Loop is a short, easy hike in Idaho's Sawtooth National Forest, within the Minidoka Ranger District. The trail is about 1.5 miles long, with a total elevation gain of 339 feet, and it starts at roughly 7,026 feet, rising to a high point of about 7,092 feet before descending slightly. The route is gentle, with the steepest stretch coming around the 1.1-mile mark, where the grade reaches about 10 percent. The climb is modest, and the whole loop can be done in about half an hour, making it an easy addition to a day spent exploring the surrounding area. Diamondfield Jack Campground sits just 0.2 miles away, and Pettit Campground is about 0.7 miles off. The Eagle (Interp. Trail) and the Porcupine Loop are both within a mile, so the hike pairs well with camping or another short outing nearby.
