Overlook is a moderate hike in Idaho's Caribou-Targhee National Forest, within the Westside Ranger District. The trail is about 3.5 miles long, with an elevation gain of 836 feet, and it is an out-and-back route. The Forest Service manages the land. The trail is natural-surfaced and allows both horses and bikes. It is not an accessible trail. The hike starts at a low point of about 6,050 feet and reaches a high of about 6,891 feet. The closest neighbors are Valvehouse Trail, about 0.3 miles away, and Upper Blind Springs, about 0.8 miles away. Camp Taylor South is about 1.5 miles off, and Scout Mountain Campground is about 1.9 miles away.
