Orange Trail is a short, easy loop on Bureau of Land Management land in the Coeur D'Alene Field Office in Idaho, about 1.2 miles long with a total elevation gain of 99 feet. The route starts and ends at roughly the same point, with the low point at 2,458 feet and the high at 2,652 feet. Summer is the most comfortable time to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Coeur D'Alene show July and August highs around 83°F with only about four wet days a month, while winter highs sit in the mid-30s. The trail sits close to several other outings. Blue Trail and Red Trail are within a third of a mile, and Blue Creek Bay Recreation Site and Trail is about half a mile away. Beauty Creek Campground, about 2 miles off, offers a place to stay.
