Eastside is a hard hike in the Mountain Home Ranger District of Idaho's Boise National Forest, managed by the Forest Service. It is an out-and-back route of about 14 miles, with an elevation gain of 1,067 feet from a low point of about 5,023 feet to a high of about 6,192 feet. The trail is on natural surface and allows both bikes and horses. Several other outings sit close by. Pat's is about 0.1 mile away, and Sinker Creek and Lower Loop are each about half a mile off. For climbing, Atomic Boulders and Bogus Boulders are about 1.1 miles away.
