Corral Canyon is a hard hike in the Palisades Ranger District of Idaho's Caribou-Targhee National Forest, about 9.5 miles long with a one-way elevation gain of 2,374 feet. The trail starts at about 6,720 feet and climbs to about 9,101 feet, so plan for a long, steep out-and-back. The Forest Service manages the land, and the trail is natural-surfaced. Bikes and horses are both allowed. Several other hikes sit within a mile, including Ice Cove, East Fork Palisades Creek and North Fork Palisades Creek. Palisades Peak Ridge is about 1.5 miles away. For an overnight base, Trail Creek campground is about 5 miles off.
