Raven Cliffs is a moderate out-and-back hike of about 4.9 miles in northeast Georgia, set within the Chattooga River Ranger District of the Chattahoochee-Oconee National Forests. The land also falls inside the Chattahoochee Wildlife Management Area, which is managed by the State Department of Natural Resources. The trail has a natural surface and climbing of about 540 feet one way, with the high point around 2,543 feet. The most comfortable months for a visit are typically spring and fall. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Sautee show October highs around 68°F with lows near 47°F and September with the fewest wet days of the year. That station sits well below the trail, so temperatures on the cliffs run cooler. Raven Cliff Falls sits just 0.1 mile away. Dukes Creek Falls and Dukes Creeks Falls are both within about half a mile, and A.T. Whitley Gap Shelter is about 2.5 miles off for a place to stay overnight.
