The Corona Boulder is a bouldering area in Connecticut, about 2.6 miles from East Glastonbury. It is a compact cluster of five boulder problems, all rated between V3- and V5+, with the hardest, The New Normal, at V5+. The area is part of a larger network of climbing and hiking in the region. Meshomasic State Forest, a climbing area about 1.5 miles away, and the 980 Chestnut Hill Road climbing area, about 2.5 miles away, are both close by. For a walk, the Yellow Trail and Kongscut Mountain Trail are each within about 2.6 miles. Late spring and early fall are the most comfortable times to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Hartford show May highs around 71°F and September highs around 76°F, with July warming to about 85°F. The routes were all first ascended by Adam Constantilos. Breaking Ground is V3, Breaking Under Ground is V4, and The New Normal is V5+.
