Saul's Loop is a short, easy loop in Connecticut, about 0.6 miles from West Redding. The route is 0.35 miles long and sits almost entirely flat, with a high point of 438 feet and a low of 429 feet. The climb is minimal, with no elevation gain and only a slight loss of 53 feet, and the steepest stretch comes early at about 8% grade. Late spring and early fall are the most comfortable times to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Danbury show May highs around 69°F and September highs around 74°F, while July peaks near 82°F. The loop makes an easy addition to a day spent exploring the surrounding trails. Jamice's Loop and the White Furlough Trail both start within about a tenth of a mile, and the McCormack Blue Trail is about 0.4 miles away. Climbers can find Sativa Slab roughly 2.3 miles off.
