Green Trail is a short, easy hike in Connecticut, about 0.34 miles long and rising from 193 feet to 247 feet. It is a point-to-point route, and the climb is flat overall, with a slight rise of 41 feet and a small drop of 62 feet along the way. The steepest stretch comes at about 0.21 miles in, with a grade of 6 percent. The nearest town is Turkey Hill, about 0.8 miles away. Late spring and early fall are the most comfortable times to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Meriden run to highs around 70°F in May and 75°F in September, while July highs average about 84°F and January highs sit near 37°F. The hike takes about half an hour. The Blue Trail lies about 0.4 miles away, and the Black Trail and Pink Trail are each about 0.5 miles off. Climbers can find Winter Wall about 1.6 miles away.
