Chambers is a cross-country ski route in Colorado, about 2.2 miles from the town of Maryvale. The trail is short, covering roughly 0.6 miles, and it rises from about 8,650 feet to about 8,744 feet, a total gain of 95 feet. The climb is moderate, with the steepest stretch at about 0.2 miles in, where the grade reaches 9 percent. Winter is the natural season for this route. Typical averages from the nearby Fraser weather station show January highs around 31°F with lows near -1°F, while June runs warmer at about 72°F. The station sits a few hundred feet lower than the route, so temperatures on the trail run slightly cooler. Two other cross-country ski routes, Start Green and Swindler, lie about 0.2 miles away. For paddling, Ranch Creek is about 1.2 miles off and the Fraser River about 2.5 miles. Idlewild Campground, roughly 3.9 miles away, offers a place to stay.
