Broken Barn is a cross-country ski route in Colorado, about 2 miles from the town of Maryvale. It is a short, easy outing: the trail is under 0.75 miles long, with a total climb of about 36 feet from a start elevation of roughly 8,600 feet. Winter is the natural season for this ski route. Typical averages from a nearby weather station at Fraser show January highs around 31°F with lows near -1°F, while June brings highs in the low 70s.
