Gold Digger is a short, easy cross-country ski route in the Dillon Ranger District of Colorado's White River National Forest. The trail is about a third of a mile long, with a slight climb of 38 feet from the low point at 9,759 feet to the high point at 9,794 feet. It's a low-effort outing, and the steepest section comes at about 0.21 miles in, with a 4% grade. Winter is the natural season for this route. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Dillon run from highs around 31°F and lows near 1°F in January to highs around 33°F and lows near 4°F in February. That station sits roughly 730 feet below the trail's high point, so temperatures on the route run a little cooler. Beaver Meadows, another cross-country ski area, lies about 0.2 miles away, and the Toad Alley mountain bike trail is just as close. Raspberry Boulders, a climbing area, is about 0.7 miles off, and the Blue River, a canoeing spot, is about a mile away.
