Beaver Meadows is a cross-country ski route in the Dillon Ranger District of Colorado's White River National Forest, about 1.5 miles long and rated moderate. It rises from roughly 9,700 feet to about 9,860 feet, with the steepest stretch at about a mile in, where the grade reaches 25 percent. Winter is the natural season for this trail. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Dillon show January highs around 31°F with lows near 1°F, while July highs reach about 75°F. That station sits roughly 800 feet lower than the trail, so temperatures on the route run cooler. Gold Digger and Hang Ten are both cross-country ski routes about 0.2 miles away.
