Mill Creek Wall is a climbing area in the Uncompahgre Wilderness, part of the Ouray Ranger District of the Grand Mesa, Uncompahgre and Gunnison National Forests in Colorado. The Forest Service manages the surrounding land, and the area sits within designated wilderness, which adds a layer of protection to its routes and setting. The climbing here ranges from sport routes to traditional ones, with 15 sport routes and 4 trad routes among the 19 listed. Grades run from 5.9 up to 5.12c, with Rainbows and Unicorns at 5.11b and Starfire at 5.12b/c. Sandman and Little Rose are two of the sport routes that pair 5.10 with 5.10d. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Silverton run to highs around 75°F in July, with lows near 38°F.
