Yule Pass is a 4.7-mile out-and-back hike in Colorado's Grand Mesa, Uncompahgre and Gunnison National Forests, crossing the boundary between the Gunnison and Sopris Ranger Districts. The trail rises from about 11,281 feet to a high point of 11,722 feet, with a total elevation gain of 442 feet, and is rated moderate. The Forest Service manages the land, and the trailhead is named Yule Pass Trailhead. The route is natural-surfaced and allows no horses or bikes. It stays open year-round, and the parking area at the trailhead is the place to start. For an overnight base, Campsite SR 19 and Campsite SR 18 sit about a mile away. Washington Gulch and the Trail Riders hike are both within about 2 miles.
