Overlook is a 7.3-mile out-and-back hike in the Hahns Peak-Bears Ears Ranger District of Medicine Bow-Routt National Forest in Colorado. The trail rises 410 feet from a low point of 7,847 feet to a high of 8,413 feet, and the Forest Service manages the land. It is a hard route, and the climb is best planned as a full day. Summer is the most comfortable time to go. Typical averages from the nearby Spicer weather station, at a similar elevation, show July highs around 77°F with lows near 42°F, while winter highs stay in the 20s. Bikes and horses are both allowed on the natural-surface trail. The trail stays open year-round. Pearl Lake Trail lies just 0.7 miles away, and Seedhouse Crag offers climbing about 2.3 miles out. Hinman Park Campground is 2.9 miles from the trail, and Willow Creek is 3.4 miles away.
