Bailey Lakes is an easy out-and-back hike in the Flat Tops Wilderness, part of the Eagle Ranger District of White River National Forest in Colorado. The trail is about 3 miles long, with a one-way climb of roughly 470 feet from a low point of about 10,300 feet to a high of about 10,800 feet. The Forest Service manages the land, and the trail's natural surface makes it a straightforward walk. Horses are allowed, but bikes are not. That makes it a good choice for riders on horseback or for anyone who prefers to leave the trail to a pack animal. Island Lakes, a fishing spot, sits just 0.4 miles away, and Sunnyside Lakes and Keener Lake are both within about 2 miles. For an overnight stay, Cold Springs Campground is about 4.3 miles off.
