Tunnel Campground is a Forest Service campground in the Canyon Lakes Ranger District of the Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forests in Colorado. It sits among a cluster of climbing areas and trails, with the Tunnels Bouldering climbing area just 0.2 miles away and the Laramie River Trail about half a mile off. Vault toilets are the only facility listed for the site, and a fee is charged for stays. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station at about 7,700 feet show July highs around 78°F with lows near 47°F, while winter highs stay in the mid-30s. The Tunnels Area climbing area is 0.8 miles away, and the West Branch hike is about 1.1 miles off. For more camping, Big South Campground is roughly 3.7 miles away.
