Big Bend Campground is a Forest Service campground in the Canyon Lakes Ranger District of the Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forests in Colorado, about a mile from the town of Rustic. It sits on a flat stretch of sagebrush and open conifer forest beside the Cache La Poudre River. The campground has eight sites, including three walk-in tent sites. Each site has a tent pad, fire grate and picnic table, and all the tent sites have a bear locker. Vault toilets are the only restroom facility. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station at Rustic show July highs around 78°F with lows near 47°F, while winter highs stay in the mid-30s. Climbers will find Kingfin Crag and West of Rustic just a few tenths of a mile away. Hikers can head to Roaring Creek, about 1.8 miles off, and Sleeping Elephant Campground is about 3.1 miles away.
